Frankfurt branch

The Sepah branch in Germany has been in Frankfurt am Main since 1978 and symbolises the traditionally good trade relations between Germany and Iran. The Frankfurt branch of Bank Sepah - Iran will continue to focus mainly on financing foreign trade between Germany and Iran. In addition to processing letters of creditas well as discounting and forfaiting of the same, we also provide our customers with services such as silent confirmation, payment transactions, loans, warranties and capital investments.
The bank is a statutory member of the German Banks’ Compensation Scheme, Cologne, as well as a member of the Deposit Protection Fund of the Association of German Banks.

Overview

Bank Sepah, Teheran, is the oldest Iranian bank and 100% of its capital is governed by the Iranian state. It was established on the 4th of May in 1925 and operates as a trade finance bank both nationally and internationally. In addition to the Frankfurt branch, it has branch offices in Paris and Rome and a 100% subsidiary bank in London – Bank Sepah International plc –(BSIP).
